Nelson Pottery and craft tours – Often the Nelson wine and crafts tours are combined. Nelson city Art and Crafts Saturday markets – If you’re in Nelson city on a Saturday, going to the Saturday Markets in Montgomery Square is a must. A large gathering of Craftspeople, artists, unique Nelson food to try is all right there. An easy walk into the Nelson city market (no need to worry about car parking). Relax, enjoy, more than likely buy something to take home and then have a coffee with something to eat. A perfect Nelson city morning.

Founders Organic Brewery. Nelson's Founders Organic Brewery is nestled in Founders Heritage Park, 87 Atawhai Drive. Its here they make their award winning range of organic beers, and tasting and tours are available for a small cost. Founders Café has a reputation for its wholesome food, 75% which is organic, and local is always their first choice. There is an all day breakfast on the weekends, and a late night on Nelson Fridays when you can shop at the Farmers Market also in the park. Happy Valley Adventures - Set in scenic bush overlooking the stunning Cable Bay coastline, Happy Valley have some great activities for families or groups and we get really good feedback about the fun to be had on the farm.
